Running a Sanctuary takes two very important things: money and people. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on donations of money or in-kind gifts. But equally important are the people who give generously of their time, talents and efforts and play a vital role in the operation of Dog Lodge.

Dogs come to Dog Lodge from a variety of backgrounds – the majority of our dogs have special needs. Whether you give your time to work directly with our residents or to help with facility projects; whether you volunteer your time to work in our office, in our outreach programs or to participate in fund-raising activities; you will be a part of something very special. A little about us

Dog Lodge Sanctuary is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) organization.

Our primary function is to come to the rescue of dogs that are, for all intents and purposes, considered “unadoptable” because of advanced age or because they have chronic illness or physical disabilities.
